Viscose jacquard fabric price depends on much more than the label “100% viscose.” The warp may use viscose filament while the weft uses rayon spun yarn, and two fabrics with the same composition can have different density, luster, drape, shrinkage and production cost.

9. Price per meter and price per kilogram answer different questions

Price per meter is useful for garment consumption and order value. Price per kilogram is useful for a broad material-cost check.

To estimate kilograms per meter:

GSM × finished width in meters ÷ 1,000

However, a fine-yarn complex jacquard can cost more per kilogram than a simpler heavier fabric because weaving efficiency and yarn type are different.

10. MOQ and color quantity affect the first-order price

Viscose jacquard programs may carry separate minimums for:

  • Pattern or construction
  • Color
  • Dye lot
  • Sample development

Small quantities can trigger weaving and dyeing surcharges. Compare the total first-order cost, not only the recurring price per meter.

11. Quality risks that can change the real sourcing cost
